I have been running for two decades and enjoy sharing my passion with others. I have no formal training, just years of racing experience. 

If you are a beginner and looking for some thoughts for you to consider on how to get started doing longer distances, let me know.  Our schedules are all overbooked and it is hard to find the time to come up with a training plan of your own. One size fits all training plans don't take into account prior accomplishments or current fitness.  Although online training plans are a great place to start (I did), they don't help you figure out how to adjust your training when you are ahead of the curve or when life gets in the way.
